【GSP】Google Sites（Webページ）の作成を通して米国高校生と共同学習！

本校の高２選択科目「２１世紀（GSP生は必履修）」では、PBLで米国カリフォルニア州のMonte Vista Christian School (MVCS)の生徒達とICT（Google for Education）を活用した共同授業を行っています。

“Do you support Trump?”

先月、米国で中間選挙が行われました。世界の政治経済に様々な波紋を引き起こしてきた米トランプ政権運営と今後の世界への影響について、上記のトリガークエッションをもとに、日米の高校生が共同で「⓵調査、⓶分析・考察、⓷ディスカッション、⓸ホームページの作成（発表）、⓹共有」を通して、「４つのC（Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Communication, Collaboration）」を身につけていくプロジェクトです。先月に行われた外部講師とのディスカッション（上記⓷）を経て、今回は学びのアウトプットとしてGoogle Sites（ウェブサイト）の作成を行いました（上記⓸）。３学期はいよいよ最終ステージとして、米国のカウンターパートと学びの総括を行っていく予定です（上記⓹）。

The 21st Century A class is nearly done with their collaborative ICT project on President Trump’s support. They have just finished up the second to last stage, which was creating a website on Google Sites. On this website, they have provided a written report on the survey they conducted earlier this term.

After discussing everything they had learned this term about Trump and his support, the students decided what they wanted to report on the website. They selected four main findings, which are…
(1) Why Trump won in 2016
(2) What do Republicans think of Trump
(3) How Trump influences East Asian security
(3) Trump’s chances at reelection in 2020.
The students also added an introductory page to introduce the class and project to the readers and summary page to wrap up the project and highlight their main findings.

After making our final edits and cleaning up the layout of the website, our final step will be to share the webpage with our peers (the high school students) at Monte Vista Christian School so that they can see the results of the survey they took for us. Those students will also be able to leave comments and questions for the Meiho students to respond to and answer, furthering the discussion and increasing learning opportunities.
